Product Overview
The lycra fabric swim caps are made of high-grade nylon spandex blend. Unlike rigid silicone swim caps, this lightweight stretch fabric delivers a gentle, hair-friendly fit, reducing hair pulling and discomfort during long training sessions. We stock multiple solid blank colors and offer full customisation including logo printing, sublimation artwork and custom colour matching for private label brands.

We select high-quality nylon + spandex (lycra) composite fabric as the core raw material.
Nylon: Offers excellent wear resistance, chlorine resistance and fast drying performance, suitable for long-term use in swimming pool water.
Spandex: Provides stable high stretch and great recovery. The cap will not deform or loosen after repeated stretching.
Fabric advantage: Thin, breathable and soft. Note: This fabric swim cap is comfortable for training, but it is NOT fully waterproof, designed mainly to tidy hair and reduce water resistance, different from silicone swim caps. All fabric batches are pre-tested for colour fastness to avoid fading in chlorinated pool water.
Raw Material Inspection We check fabric thickness, elasticity, colour consistency, colour fastness and surface defects once fabric arrives. Unqualified rolls will be rejected before cutting.
Digital Cutting Fabric is spread flat on cutting tables and cut by precise cutting moulds according to swim cap patterns, to guarantee uniform size for every piece.
Sewing & Stitching Professional workers sew the cap with high-strength elastic thread. We use neat closed edge stitching to prevent fraying, focusing on smooth inner seams for wearing comfort.
Custom Printing (For OEM Orders) For custom logo or pattern orders: We adopt screen printing or sublimation printing. Print position, colour and clarity are double-checked after printing.
Shaping & Trimming Extra loose threads are trimmed off. Each cap is manually shaped to restore its natural curved form.
Full Finished Product Inspection 100% visual inspection before packing.
Packing Pack individually into transparent polybags, or follow your custom packing requirements (custom header card, bulk carton packing etc.)
We implement multi-stage QC through the whole production cycle:
Pre-production QC: Raw fabric lab test for elasticity, colour fastness and chlorine resistance.
Inline QC: QC inspectors patrol the sewing and printing lines randomly, checking stitching tightness, print deviation and size error. Defective semi-finished products are picked out immediately.
Final Inspection (100% check): Each finished swim cap is checked for stains, broken stitches, printing blurs, deformation and loose threads. Any flawed items are separated and reworked or discarded.
Pre-shipment QC: Random sampling from packed cartons before delivery, to confirm packing quantity and overall quality meet your order requirements. We keep production records for every batch for traceability.

Q3: Is this cap waterproof like silicone swim caps? A: This is lycra fabric swim cap. It is soft and quick-drying, but not fully waterproof. It works well for training to keep hair neat and reduce drag.
