Product Description
The fabric is processed with a two-way rotary brushing technique, lifting fine, uniform fibers on both sides to create a plush, velvety surface. This not only enhances the beret’s cozy feel but also improves its wind resistance and warmth, ideal for cool autumn and winter days.
The beret’s crown is cut from a single, continuous piece of fabric using laser-guided pattern alignment, minimizing unnecessary seams. Where seams are required, we use a flatlock stitching method that lays thread flat against the fabric, eliminating scratchy inner edges and reducing bulk for a smooth, comfortable fit.
The iconic central stem is hand-stitched by skilled artisans, rather than machine-attached, to ensure it sits perfectly centered and maintains its upright shape with every wear. The crown’s subtle folds are also hand-shaped, giving each beret a unique, lived-in look that can’t be replicated by mass production.
Brim Reinforcement & Steam Setting
The beret’s short brim undergoes a reinforced overlock stitch along the edge, preventing fraying and maintaining its crisp, structured silhouette. After assembly, each beret is steam-pressed at a controlled temperature to lock in its final shape, ensuring it holds its form even after repeated wear and handling.
